What To Expect from Your Interview

If you are shortlisted then we will contact you by phone or by email to invite you to attend College for an interview.

You should prepare for the interview by researching the company, reviewing the job description, and practicing answers to potential interview questions. You are very welcome to bring notes into the interviews with you and to refer to these notes to help you answer questions to the best of your ability.

Our aim in the interview is to get to know you and to understand your skills and experience. It’s not a test so please feel comfortable to take your time thinking before answering questions.

The interview may last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more, depending on the position and the interviewer.

The interviewer will ask you a variety of questions related to your skills, experience, and qualifications for the job. You may also be asked behavioural questions that require you to describe specific situations you have faced in the past and how you handled them.

You will also be given the opportunity to ask questions about College and the role. You should use this opportunity to make sure that, if we come back to you to offer you the role, you are in a good position to know if you would like to accept.

Diversity

We are keen to encourage diversity within our team and so if there are things that we can do to make you more comfortable with the interview process then please do talk to the Recruitment Team to let us know what they are. We will do our best to support you.
