Design & Technology Technician
Term Time + 3 week role (36 weeks)
Cheltenham College is seeking an enthusiastic, practical, and highly organised Design & Technology Technician to join its D&T Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a creative and forward-thinking environment, providing hands-on support to both staff and pupils across a range of inspiring projects and activities.
The department benefits from excellent facilities, including specialist workshops, CAD/CAM equipment, exhibition space, and dedicated preparation areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing materials for lessons, maintaining equipment and machinery, supporting pupils during practical work, and helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and engaging learning environment.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong practical workshop skills, excellent organisational ability, and a passion for supporting creative and technical learning in a busy school environment.

Salary: Based on experience and qualifications. Scale grade C – E. The salary will be pro-rated to reflect the term time nature of the role. 0.88 FTE.
