Cheltenham College is seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised HR Assistant to join our well-established HR and Payroll Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the recruitment and onboarding of staff in a role which offers plenty of variety on a day-to-day basis. At the same time, you will ensure our recruitment, onboarding and safeguarding compliance processes are carried out accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards.
Working closely with the Recruitment Manager and the wider HR & Payroll Team, you will support all aspects of the recruitment process, from advertising vacancies and helping to coordinate interviews to completing pre-employment checks and onboarding new colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
As your experience grows, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of recruitment for a range of support staff roles, managing the process from advertisement through to appointment.
We are looking for someone who combines excellent administrative skills with a warm, approachable manner.

Experience of working in a highly regulated or compliance-focused environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
